On one of those rainy days

Blackie and Fifi always look forward to two period of time on weekdays.
1) 9am for their morning run
2) 6pm for their afternoon run
They hate it most when it rained at this period. Best is after rain because they love the feeling of water splashing when they run >.<"
Anyway it's also cooling on the floor rather than it's hot! Posted some pic I took of Fifi after a heavy rain in the evening!

Recently, fragments of Marley keep appearing in my mind. Dunno is cuz of Qing Ming, had wanted to visit her, or their bdays in March or simply I miss her!

That day, Rob and I were comparing fifi and Marley... He says I treat Fifi just like i treat Marley. Always scolding her but Marley still sticks to me. Always threatening to throw her away when she run out. My reply shocked both of us, and I also hope to tell Marley this

＂如果我知道你这么快会离开我，我就不会一天到晚说不要你！＂I hope you understand most of the times when I scold you, I'm actually saying opposite of how my heart felt. Marley, miss u so much!

Fifi's acting

found this receipt when clearing my wallet! it had been 1yr+ le ......
Fifi that time still a puppy........even if she is 1 yr+ older now, she still not listening to our command...or rather i think she is ignoring! However one thing undeniable, we can see that she is indeed closer to us as compared to that date. Btw, "coco" is the dog they intended to use initially, we are just a replacement and luckily she is casted. =P 1min on national TV!

Dogs of Bali

During the visit to Bali, I found that they have many dogs roaming the streets. Be it stray or owned as I assume those with collars are owned. However most of these roaming dogs seems docile and seldom bark at strangers. I guess is the environment which is very relaxing, at peace...
The other thing I realize, their stray dog sizes which usually classified as medium-sized seem smaller than ours.. Is it of the food they eat diff from ours??

Is Blackie still missing Marley?

Sometimes we though she forgot, sometimes we think she does......

Today, she made us feel she did not forget Marley....
She barked at the lorry that run over Marley non-stop angrily till the lorry drove off......
after the incident, the lorry did not drive into that area too much...
from her location, she is also not able to see it.
Today, at the staircase she saw the lorry and barked non-stop......
Ah-Bu says maybe she still remembers..... or maybe she only remember hating that vehicle?

whatever .........and it had almost been a yr.
I miss her too.......

Their Breed

Whenever I go to the shop and buy things, they like to ask me what are my dogs' breed......
If to the vet, sometimes I would say "Mongrels" because some vets they like them but some they will "hiam"
There is once, when i walked into the grooming shop and they asked the same question, suddenly I spotted one familiar looking one, I say look like it.......
the one i pointed is Doberman....... =P

don't their color look like them?????? these are puppies by the way, they dont look like the adult version because that is too big......

but I was said by my family, I think too much and too highly of my dogs! >.<"

anyway, just now while reading up on them again.....

The Doberman was developed in the 1880s by Louis Doberman of Apolda in Germany. He wanted a ferocious, short-coated, medium- to large-sized dog with courage and stamina, and developed his stock around the German Pinscher, which was both alert and aggressive. To this he introduced the Rottweiler with its stamina and tracking ability, the Manchester Terrier from which the Doberman inherited its markings, and possibly also the Pointer. The Doberman was given official recognition as a breed standard in Germany in 1900. A fine obedience and show dog, the Doberman can make a good family pet, but it needs knowledgeable handling and training, being wary of strangers and constantly "on guard." It needs a lot of exercise, and should be groomed every couple of days.

But above breeds are all pedigree Breed, meaning they have a standard size/weight to match bah.....

Mine indeed are far from their standards.....

even though i seriously think they look like them haaaaaa......

Anyway, in Singapore, they can not be called as mongrels and called as "Singapore Specials"

Whatever their breed is, our fates have been linked.....they are always my dogs!

Although Fifi is cuter, I love taking photos of Blackie......because she is calmer, easier to take photos and her expressions sometimes quite funny on photos

Ok, Fifi - 10mths old......as her growing slows down, she almost catch up to blackie's size.

Now that she is longer/taller....she likes to stand up and see things like - her reflection in the toilet's mirror /windows, scenery over the ledge, over the wall to see blackie....and at the window to see inside....
She is about Marley's size, or much longer.. as of now. Let's see whether will she reach Blackie's build at 1 yr old!

Jus saw doggiefriend posted some photos of dogs auditioning. They are asked to play dead and can't help remembering how I taught Marley to learn "bang" and she has to lie on her side play dead. I only taught her in one day but she learned it despite refusing to do it properly. She is so smart. Blackie is too cool to put up with us making her do this. I doubt teaching fifi this is easy. Haiz.... I really miss my marley alot, if only I can "bang" you one time and u will peep at me to see will I give u treats!

I miss u alot, can u come to my dreams next time and give me some happy times and not those nightmares tat I have to wake up feeling more heartache? Minh says dreams are opposite of reality, so mayb u are doing fine wherever u r. If this so, heartache so b it, I still hope to see u in my dreams again. I miss u badly...
