Is Blackie still missing Marley?

Sometimes we though she forgot, sometimes we think she does......

Today, she made us feel she did not forget Marley....
She barked at the lorry that run over Marley non-stop angrily till the lorry drove off......
after the incident, the lorry did not drive into that area too much...
from her location, she is also not able to see it.
Today, at the staircase she saw the lorry and barked non-stop......
Ah-Bu says maybe she still remembers..... or maybe she only remember hating that vehicle?

whatever .........and it had almost been a yr.
I miss her too.......

Ok, Fifi - 10mths old......as her growing slows down, she almost catch up to blackie's size.

Now that she is longer/taller....she likes to stand up and see things like - her reflection in the toilet's mirror /windows, scenery over the ledge, over the wall to see blackie....and at the window to see inside....
She is about Marley's size, or much longer.. as of now. Let's see whether will she reach Blackie's build at 1 yr old!

although i may not b her top love, I should be #3.....but i know she loves me!

19th Feb 2011 - Fifi went for spaying

Fifi Went for spaying on 19th Feb 2011 (Saturday).... while waiting to go in, she is clueless and she was so happy to make fren with the dr she didnt even turn her head and look for me! 

4 hrs later, we went to collect her.....she was brawling when we first stepped in, and threatened to break the clinic's cage and spoil the mat that was used to keep her. and later she became this state while waiting to collect her medicine. Grouchy and drowsy due to the GA.....and she is angry with me, i think she felt betrayed by me as she gave me the cold shoulder until into the car when she need some TLC......haaaa  

back in the office, she refused food which is unusual as she wouldnt reject food and only drank few mouths of water.....everybody seeing her in tis state felt "poor thing" as she also vomited 4 times (once in the clinic)

 But the devil in her only subside for that day as the next day she is back as usual. Like 饿鬼!

we gave her a t-shirt to wear so that the wound would not be so exposed to the environment and Blackie also wants it, so both have an old tshirt to wear....

Chinese New Year!

Blackie, Fifi and their mother had a great time this CNY (as in the first few days) except that when there are lion dances in the area.

Nail Cutting

Today We bought Blackie & Fifi for nail cutting. Maybe some owners will feel how come pay ppl to cut for them, but truth is, we are not able to cut them they either put up a fight or struggle/run away. it is v hard to keep them down to cut and we ownselves also struggle fearing to cut too deep and cut their veins.

Blackie likes gng out..... and it is quite rare that she is willing to pose for me......

it is Blackie's third nail-cutting and Fifi's first...the whole nail cutting session only took us 15mins for both of them. The groomer even praise them very obedient, which i thought i heard wrongly.

The last time we went, it took 30mins for Blackie & Marley. Blackie maybe took 5-10 mins, it is Marley, she almost escaped and run out. Whined non-stop.. I almost wanted to go in and help but was stopped.

The first time Marley went nail cutting with Blackie, Marley was whining/yelping/struggling till a crowd was form outside the shop to see what is going on -.-" and i have to hug her to comfort her in the end, the groomer allow me to go in, cuz else they are not able to cut for her. But because Marley doesnt like running, so her veins grow with the nails, thus all the nails are bleeding, cant help feeling her pain, but still have to cut lah.

Now that it is so fast, was not really used to it and too un-eventful i must say, other than Fifi barking back at the dog that was doing grooming before we walk in. On the way back, was missing Marley, memories of going nail cutting flash back. Although I complained her making a scene every time we go nail cutting, I enjoyed it because there are always many situations that caught me unaware, maybe making my life more exciting.

After tat, we went up the hill and tried Blackie's new retractable leash, I'm so afraid that blackie will spoil it lor, i think her strength is more than 25KG but one thing I am sure, so far Blackie always managed to find the way back to the lorry wherever we go. Maybe that is the reason why she has to shit once she get off lorry, to do a marking! Luckily i brought the poo-bag out.

Anyway Fifi grown longer and taller @ length 62cm. 

Fifi with us @ 4 weeks

This is how long Fifi is 4 weeks with us, i think is about 52cm......cuz she cannot stay properly and let me measure! as for why her tail is tucked real in, because is her first lorry ride and the lorry is moving, so she is scared! haaaaaaa i didnt know she is so scared so i find it quite funny and took a photo of her! not tat i am being bad lah, but i am so used with Blackie and Marley taking lorry rides, and they are ok with it. and sometimes they can do it by themselves without us companying.

 i think blackie is too hot, so licking her saliva.. as for fifi, she is abit lost with the lorry moving.... cuz today we brought her to nearby for a walk, in the end go club 4 paws, but nothing much....think i prefer k9

 and another shot of Fifi sleeping against a wooden block, think she likes to lift her head while sleeping.....which coincidently look like Marley....

Blackie & Fifi - after 2 weeks

After 2 weeks, this Fifi of cuz is familiar, know who can bully, know who to scare of. And we must say, she grow alot in these 2 weeks.

As of today, Fifi is 48cm, 9KG (last week she is only 45cm lor).......

OMG! she is even fatter than blackie and marley, i remember they were only 7-8KG at this age.

 As for Blackie, by right she should have stopped growing because usually they will grow until 9 mths old. But Recently we also noted that when sitting down, she seem taller... After measuring, she is 82cm (previously is 80cm) and 21 KG! Well-done, considering the less activity she has now, she did not put on much weight.

Maybe cuz got a puppy growing, she also affected or nowadays she eating too much puppy kibbles. haaaaa

Blackie & Fifi - 1st encounter

Fifi arrived

We had adopted a pup from shelter because it has some resemblance of Marley.
Maybe some ppl will feel we r making use of her by treating her as a sub or wat.. But I think her role is more of distracting us from the pain of losing Marley, including Blackie.

When I heard Blackie is howling in some of the nights, my heart ache because does this mean she is putting a strong front in front of us. Of cuz, she is as hurt as us but if really so, she is too sensible. My Blackie is such a brave girl. Never once whimper when cutting nails, always protecting Marley when she yelps..

I miss u badly, Marley. Never knew I did love you so much.

Sept 2009 Doggies First outing

As they completed their vaccination in Aug, we can officially bring them out with also the license thingy settled. So after doing some research, the nearest place to visit will be Bishan Dog Run

A dog outing became a family outing, before these 2 came into the picture, i doubt we whole family will go out together to just walk a park! haaaaaa we would rather walk shopping centre lor.

And we took lorry with them.....

but Blackie was traumatized by a labrador pub who got too excited and almost violated my girl! Luckily i managed to grab her away as Blackie was too stunned/shy to react.... and game over, no more socializing!

The two sua-ku dun seem to know how to react when too many dogs came along...so in the end we stay out of the dog run and just walk the park then grab a bite at the restaurant there which i think they two preferred it!

athey are really quite excited to go out.....this is the first time for them and for us too! now that they are with us for 4 mths...we are rather able to understand their temperament.
At Home, Marley ruled over Blackie....but outside she is just a follower......haaaaaa and Blackie likes to lead and explore new places..... i think she has some retriever blood.

Aug 2009 - Doggies went clinic, final vaccination, celebrations..

5 months old....

They were brought to clinic for their final vaccination, micro-chip...and also to see if getting paint is ok anot, because our estate at that time is having a new coat of paint and unsurprisingly these two got some paint on them!

the video was when they just learned paw-paw...for saying thank you, but mostly used for asking food!

August 2009 is month of celebration, as they officially became our dogs as they have their mirco-chip.As 3 colleagues had birthday on that month, we had a celebration....photos of them with the ppl that love them!

They got too excited and cause us to cannot concentrate on our cake-cutting so they were banished back to their home....giving that glum face until after the cake cutting...their Ah-Bu came out to feed them her bday cake. it was their ah-bu birthday month!.

Finally on one of the weekend...they got themselves more paint! they seem quite excited with the coat of paint on them.....but it definitely took us quite alot of work to get the paint off them....

My Mummy loves me alot...they even come back to play with me on sunday.
Either they are scared that we are bored or.....they are simply too bored!

Anyway of cuz i love them come to let us out to play! And we love chasing and snatching the ball or anything that can move!
